Dante Fabbro Drills Yanni Gourde In First NHL Fight

 

Dante Fabbro tallied his first NHL fight Saturday night against Yanni Gourde during the third period of the Nashville Predators vs Tampa Bay Lightning game. 

During the third period of play the Nashville Predators managed to cut through the Tampa Bay Lightning defense and capitalize on a rebound. The momentum started to shift in Nashville’s favor after the goal, but the Lightning started to push back. Quickly emotions started to run high, which, culminated in the second fight of the night where Fabbro and Gourde dropped the gloves with 9:45 left in the period. This marked Fabbro's first NHL fight.

The passion continued to pick up even more in the second half of the period after a scrum ,started by Mathieu Olivier, ended up leaving him bloodied after he was swarmed for attacking Foote. 

Tampa ended up on a power-play due to the scuffle but they were unable to capitalize even after generating more than a few good looks on Rinne. 

The Tampa Bay Lightning squeaked out a win over the Nashville Predators 5-4.
