The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Series Trailer

 

The trailer for Disney's latest reboot: The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has leaked its way online.

Emilio Estevez returns as Gordon Bombay and will be the coach of a new team that takes on his former Ducks. Joining Estevez in the cast is Lauren Graham (The Gilmore Girls), who is the mother of a youth hockey player who gets thrown off the District 5 Ducks team.

Since Bombay's departure, his old Ducks team has become a state championship-winning powerhouse prompting Graham's character to launch a new team for cast-off players, with Bombay as the coach.

It appears that a running joke in the series will be the amount of money parents are now spending on youth sports, with one parent bringing her child's private trainer and "pediatric sports psychologist" to a Ducks practice.

No word yet on when The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers will hit the streaming service, but Dylan Playfair let it slip on Spittin Chiclets that the show was aiming for a mid 2021 release.
